The In-Line Flue gas probe AMS 3211-860/150 is for applications in Ex Zone 1 according ATEX II 2G Ex d IIB + H2 T3. The flue gas probe is equipped with ATEX certified temperature control device, which switches off the heater of the ZrO2-Sensor when the flue gas temperature exceeds ≥ 500 °C. The temperature control device is SIL 2 certified. AMS manufactures also Ex-certified flue gas probes for extreme applications and for flue gas temperature up to 1200 °C.
All AMS flue gas probes can be fitted with a time controlled back-purge unit for applications with high dust content. Time controlled by the AMS Transmitter instrument air with a pressure of up to 6 bar (g) is forced against the sinter metal filter from inside to blow off dust which has accumulated on the outer surface. Dust accumulation on the sinter metal filter surface which interferes with the diffusion of the measuring gas to the ZrO2-Sensor can be avoided. The back-purge unit can be integrated into the pneumatic unit.
