An accessory for the Transmitter AMS 5200 is a software for remote service and control. Remote service via Ethernet or Internet is most common in conjunction with continous emission monitoring system, especially for the electronic measuring data processing. Remote service increases the availability of a measuring system, and reduces the cost for service and downtime. The Transmitter AMS 5200 can be integrated into a computer network by wireless ethernet using the bi-directional RS 232 interface on the Transmitter. This allows the direct access of the AMS service engineer to the service and programm settings of the O2 transmitter. Since the access to the Transmitter AMS 5200 is only possible in a direct dialogue between the on-site personnell and the AMS service engineer, the safety and integrity of the computer network is guaranteed at all times.
