FT-TC 1100 for Bio gas / Natural gas

The Thermal conductivity Analyser FT-TC 1100 with Fourier-Transformation is based on the newest generation of miniaturized thermal conductivity sensors. Due to it’s small thermal mass, these sensors can be modulated with frequencies from 0,5 Hz to 20 Hz.

 

By modulation of the membrane temperature of the thermal conductivity sensor the FT-TC 1100 is using the physical effect of the change in the thermal conductivity of gas components with temperature. Generating a multi-dimensional calibration matrix with subsequent fast Fourier-Transformation allows the precise measurement of gas mixtures with three and four gas components.

 

Using the miniaturized thermal conductivity sensors the FT-TC 1100 reaches T90 times of less than 2 seconds.

 

One application of the Thermal conductivity analyser FT-TC 1100 is the measurement of Density and Calorific value of Bio gas and Natural gas for gas mixing units. The measuring values Density and Calorific value are used for the precise compliance with contract values at the transfer point of gas distribution stations. For this application fast responses of the thermal conductivity sensor are required, since the changing’s of density and calorific value occurs fast and within narrow boundaries.
